This game needs members to get it on its feet
Fire Herd:
The Fire Herd lived in the volcanic regions of the land. That was the claimed Fire Herd land and region. Yes they could travel all over the island, but the volcanic region was in fact their home. The herd consisted of horses that were shades of or had many marking with the colours of red, chestnut, yellow, dun, buckskin, bays, palomino, orange, brindle, black, and ash gray. These horses could bear markings as well, such as an ash gray horse with an orange stripe. Not all horses of these colours belonged to the Fire Herd. Some other coloured horses were in the fire herd such as whites and roans and even blue horses. The herd’s leader could control Fire. Little did the Herd know that they would soon end the era they lived in.
Water Herd:
The Water Herd’s claimed lands were the beaches and round the largest likes and rivers on the island. They too could travel freely about the island. They loved swimming, wading and running in the rain. The horses in this herd were shades or had marking of blue roans, blue, cobalt, aqua, sea foam green, sea green, ocean blue, grays, palominos, and other shades of blue. Again other coloured horses were common in these herds. The herd’s leader could control water.
Wind Herd (includes wind, air, weather):
The Wind Herd’s claimed lands were in a fifty - acre platuae with grass and a small wood. The winds always blew here, there was never a still day in the land. The most abundant colours in this herd were whites, blues and light greens and tans. The herd’s leader could control the Winds.
Ice Herd (ice and snow):
The Ice Herd Claimed the snow – capped mountain tops. As you can guess everything there was frozen, cold and windy. These horses liked it. They had very thick coats to protect themselves from the cold and deep snow. These horses usually had the colours of the snow and ice, grays, whites, light blues, and paint horses to blend in with the rock and snow, and bays. The leader could control the snow.
Sky Herd:
The Sky Herd claimed the mountains with tops and valleys that had an abundance of grassy plains, caverns and forests. These horses liked to be high in the sky, near the clouds. These horses were usually shades of yellow, orange, palomino, white, gray, sky blue, and paints. The leader could control the clouds and was a friend of all the birds and flying insects.
Night Herd:
The Night Herd’s claimed land were half in the badlands and reached into a portion of what is now Terra Scure where it is dark all the time. The horses liked the dark, moon, stars, space, evil, and dark magic. They moved and attacked in the darkness of the night. If they were in light they would stick to the shadows. These horses were black, deep red, deep purple, deep blues, dark grays, light grays, paint, brindles, roans and maroons. Other colours were there as well. All the horses in the herd could see very, very well in the dark. The leader had powers of Dark magic. They could get you if you had a weak mind or body. The Night herd would soon become one of the most important herds in the land.
Day Herd:
The Day Herd’s land was what is now Belle Valle. They loved this land because it was open to the sky and let sun shine down on them. (If the herd had a song it would be Here Comes The Sun) They loved the light and all things good. When it was dark they used the light from the moon and the stars above. These horses were usually shades of all bright, neon, pastel colours, white, gray, sorrel, chestnut, palomino, white, buckskin, dun, paints, and red roans. The leader had power of good magic.
Earth Herd:
The Earth Herd’s claimed land was that of a lost (unexplored) region of the land. It had many rocks, hills, grasslands, and forests in it, all the things that made the Earth elements. These horses loved all natural things. These horses usually consisted of all natural horse colours, and for the un-natural coloured ones, they were earth toned. The leader had power over the plants and rocks.
Life Herd:
The Life Herd was basically a sister clan to the Day Herd. Their land bordered the Day Herd’s land. They liked all things that the Day Herd did; only the Life Lord was more powerful than the Day Lord. These horses were usually shades of all bright, neon, pastel colours, white, gray, sorrel, chestnut, palomino, white, buckskin, dun, paints, and red roans. As in all other herds, other colours were allowed in the clan. The leader had the power to bring the dead back to life by a simple touch and a saying or spell.
Death Herd:
The Death Herd was a sister clan to the Night Herd. The horses liked the dark, chaos, evil, dark magic, destruction, pain, and suffering. The herd claimed land that is now part of Terra Scure. Their lands boarded the Night Herd’s land. These horses were any and every colour. The leader had the power to kill any one and anything by touch and a saying or spell. Even with this great power, the Death Herd was still one of the first clans to vanish.
Time Herd:
The Time Herd’s land was far past Belle Valle, to the oldest part of the Island, for they loved history and time. The horses in the herd could be any colour, they just had to stick to talking to the herd and only let the leader converse with other leaders. This was for safety reasons. The Time Herd’s members could tell almost exactly when things were going to happen, such as the death of some one, a disaster, ect. The leader knew exactly when, and the members could tell within forty – eight hours of the event to come. The leader had great power over time. Some say this was the most powerful Element in the land, since the Time Herd was the last to go.
Spirit Herd:
The Spirit Herd had no claimed land, for they were free spirits and roamed about the Island. Home was wherever the decided to settle for the night. With spirit also came great strength. The horses in this herd were very strong and versatile. They could last for days at a time running or cantering. They were probably one of the Herds you would not want to run into on the battlefield. The horses in this herd could be any colour; they just had to posses strength, stamina, durability, and a fiery spirit. The leader had the power over strength and one’s spirit.
Love Herd (love, loyalty):
The Love Herd’s land is what are now the breeding and the foaling grounds. The members of this herd had to love others and be loyal to the Love Lord and Lady and to the land. These horses were usually shades or had markings of pink, red, white, gray, bay, red roan, bay roan, sorrels, chestnut, chestnut roan, grulla, paints and blue roans. They would usually accept any equine that needed a home. The leader had the power over love, by making any animal fall in or out of love with another.
Wisdom Herd (wisdom, knowledge):
The Wise lived in what are now the large battlegrounds at the top of a mountain. This place was safe for them. It was a large grassy area with a lake and caverns in the cliff walls. The wise new everything about the island from every herd. They were basically the record keepers, like books in a library. Any Herd could come to them and ask about anything. The horses in this herd were any colour; the just had to show they were smart and wise. The wise were hated by some herds, because of what they knew about all the individuals and Herds on the isle. The leader had power over all knowledge of the island and its past. They knew everything. The Wisdom Lord was great friends with the Time Lord, to some this was a dangerous combination and they feared the two might try and rule the whole land.
